Our Story

We build the scooter fleet your property needs — without forcing you into the shared-mobility business.

Why Ride Goat Exists

The first wave of e-scooters arrived in cities as a public ride-share experiment. It generated headlines, regulatory fights, and a lot of scattered scooters on sidewalks. Somewhere in the noise, a much quieter need was being ignored: the property managers, campus operators, business parks, and hospitality groups who actually wanted scooters on their property and had no good way to get them.

They didn't want to apply for a city permit. They didn't want to operate a city-wide ride-share. They wanted a clean, well-maintained fleet inside their own community — with insurance, an app, charging, and someone to call when something broke. Nobody was selling that. So we started building it.

Ride Goat was founded on a simple idea: corporate-first micromobility. Not a permitted city operator. Not a hardware vendor handing you a box of scooters and a manual. A turnkey partner that delivers a working fleet, runs the day-to-day, and shares revenue with the property that hosts it.

The Gap We Fill

Talk to a property owner who has thought about scooters and you'll hear the same list of objections every time:

  • "I don't want to become a transportation company."
  • "I don't have anyone to charge them, fix them, or move them."
  • "I can't take on the liability of a rider crashing on my property."
  • "I have no idea how to build the rider app."
  • "What happens when a scooter ends up in the lake?"

Each of those is a legitimate reason a campus says no to scooters — and each one is something Ride Goat has already solved. We built the rider app, the geofencing tools, the maintenance routines, the insurance program, and the operations playbook. When you partner with us, you get the result: scooters available to your residents, employees, or guests, with none of the operational complexity sitting on your team.

How We Support Our Partners

Every Ride Goat deployment is turnkey. That word gets overused, so here is what it actually means in practice:

  • The hardware. Goat-branded Aike scooters in our signature purple, plus pre-owned Segway Max 2.3 fleets for partners who want a more economical entry point. We deliver them, configure them, and charge them.
  • The rider experience. The Goat app handles unlock, payment, in-ride safety prompts, and trip end. Riders download once and use it across every Ride Goat property they visit.
  • The operations. Charging, cleaning, repairs, swaps, repositioning. We staff and schedule the work. Our local ops crew is the visible Ride Goat presence on your property.
  • The geofencing. You decide where scooters can ride, where they have to slow down, and where they cannot park. We build the zones and enforce them in software.
  • The revenue share. Every paid ride generates revenue for the property. You receive a recurring statement and a deposit — not an invoice.

Where We Operate Today

Ride Goat is headquartered in Lewes, Delaware, and we run fleets at a growing roster of corporate campuses and managed properties across the United States. Our flagship deployment is the Power Design corporate campus in St. Petersburg, Florida, where employees use our scooters daily to move between buildings, parking, and the surrounding district.

That deployment is the model: a single property owner who knows exactly what their people need, partnered with an operator who can deliver it without becoming a distraction. We've used the same playbook to launch fleets at residential communities, mixed-use developments, and hospitality properties.

"We wanted scooters on the campus. We did not want to run scooters on the campus. Ride Goat handled everything from the app to the kickstands."

What's Next

We're expanding in three directions. First, more corporate campuses — the original use case, and still where we generate the highest rider engagement and the cleanest unit economics. Second, hospitality and resort properties, where guests want a fun, easy way to get around without an Uber. Third, our pre-owned program, which gives smaller properties access to professionally refurbished Segway Max fleets at a fraction of the cost of new hardware.

Across all of it, the principle stays the same: corporate-first, turnkey, and designed so the property owner never has to think about logistics. If your campus, building, or community would be better with a scooter fleet but you have no interest in operating one, that is exactly what we built Ride Goat to handle.
